About The Club

Glen Iris Dog Training Club (GIDTC) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit dog training club that was founded in 2010.

The Club's purpose is to:

  • Facilitate the socialisation of dogs of all breeds and ages.
  • Educate dog owners about their responsibilities to their dogs, the dogs of others and to other members of the community.
  • Conduct classes to socialise dogs and to train dogs in both obedience and agility.
  • Advise any members who are interested in competing with their dog in social neutrality, obedience and agility trials.
  • Advise members when required of the necessity of additional training, beyond what is possible in class-based training.
  • Conduct social gatherings of members and their families from time to time.

Note that all memberships are 'family' memberships so if others in your immediate family will be involved with training please add their names (and age if under 18) where prompted.
